Here you will find our beautiful pack, although not always together. Managing a household with two neurodivergent children requires flexibility, structure, and thoughtful planning, and we are fortunate to have a close, supportive extended family who play an active role in our dogs’ lives. At times throughout the year, some of our dogs enjoy “holidays” with trusted family members, remaining within the Ukeevea family network rather than being placed in kennels or unfamiliar environments.

We view this not as separation, but as enrichment. These periods allow our dogs to experience varied home environments, individual attention, and deeper one-on-one bonds, while still maintaining consistency in care, routines, and expectations. They continue to live as family dogs — relaxed, loved, and included — which is exactly how we believe Siberian Huskies should be raised. Experiencing different family settings also gives us meaningful insight into each dog’s temperament, adaptability, and social confidence, helping inform responsible breeding choices and thoughtful puppy placement.

This approach supports emotional wellbeing, adaptability, and resilience, and reflects our commitment to balancing the needs of both our children and our dogs without compromising the welfare of either. Every decision we make is guided by what allows our dogs to thrive — not just within our household, but within the wider family network they know and trust.
